Yay!  As from today I have become a Blogger.  My friend Lisa kindly offered to help me set up this blog and get me on my way.  Thanks so much Lisa….  No doubt I will be calling on your help again as time goes by.

Time, time, time….time wise…I hope I have it in me to make the time to develop this blog. I have used the phrase “On the Downward Run” for a special reason.  We are just into September here and it is now spring in New Zealand.  Later this month I will celebrate my 75th birthday.  That is three quarters of a century.  I have this three quarters of a century to write about and share.  I am on the downward run.  I have to make the most of every day and live well every day. I hope my posts will be funny, hilariously funny at times with little bits of sadness thrown in.  I have many tales to tell.  Everyone has a tale to tell and I so love hearing and reading other peoples stories.

So where do I start?  My name is Elizabeth Isabel Davidson nee McMahon.  I live in Blenheim, Marlborough, New Zealand. I have been married to Keith Davidson for 51 years.  We share an eighties-style house with three cats and one dog. This all sounds a bit mundane but believe me that will change.  I will be relating family stories and those of close friends.  I reckon this is enough for tonight…. But Yay..I’ve actually started…….
